Aircraft hangars
Aircraft hangars in prefabricated steel for aeroplanes and helicopters, with doors made to fit the aircraft.
Design, manufacture, installation
A hangar built around your aircraft
A prefabricated hangar is a steel building tailored to the aircraft it will house: we set the width and height of the doors and the span and height of the building to suit the aeroplane or helicopter.
All steel components are protected against corrosion by hot-dip galvanising. For the roof and walls we use trapezoidal sheeting or insulated sandwich panels. The helicopter hangar in Makole has four-leaf sliding doors that open to give 16 m of clear access.
Whether a building permit is needed depends on the project. We take care of it: if it is, we prepare the design documentation and obtain the permit; if not, we put the hangar up without one.

Specification
What the building is made of
We design all our aircraft hangars to measure. Below are the specifications we use most often.
- Structure
- Hot-dip galvanised steel, bolted or welded depending on size and use
- Doors
- Made to fit the aircraft, for example four-leaf sliding doors 16 m wide
- Roof
- Trapezoidal sheeting or roof panels
- Walls
- Trapezoidal sheeting or wall panels
- Dimensions
- To the client's requirements

Standards
Designed and manufactured to standards
In design and production we follow the European standards required for steel structures.
CE marking
Under SIST EN 1090-1 and SIST EN 1090-2 we hold an EC certificate of factory production control, which is required for marking products with the CE mark.

FAQ
Aircraft hangars in brief
How wide can the doors of aircraft hangars be?
We make the doors to fit the aircraft. The helicopter hangar in Makole has four-leaf sliding doors that open to give 16 m of clear access.
What is the structure of a steel hangar made of?
Steel protected against corrosion by hot-dip galvanising, made in execution class EXC 2 to SIST EN 1090-1 and 1090-2.
Do you also prepare the documentation?
Yes. When a building permit is needed, we prepare the design documentation and manage the procedure through to the occupancy permit. If the hangar does not need a permit, we put it up without one.
